Roots & Wings

The Alabama Artists: Roots and Wings Art Show was ArtsRevive’s first annual event in 2002. This prominent annual juried art show is held at ArtsRevive's Carneal Building in historic downtown Selma and showcases the rich artistry born out of the state of Alabama. The event has built a reputation for its varied sampling of Alabama talent at its finest. The show presents work from artists who are from Alabama, though may now live and work elsewhere (Wings), as well as artists who currently live in Alabama (Roots), and features various art mediums including painting, drawing, photography, quilting and more.
