Pat Snow’s Spiraling opens at Gallery 905
ArtsRevive is proud to present Spiraling, a solo exhibition by acclaimed Alabama artist Pat Snow, opening on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Gallery 905 in Selma.
Born in Birmingham and raised in Anniston, Pat Snow earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Alabama, where he studied as a studio assistant for renowned folk artist Rev. Howard Finster. He later completed a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing at the University of Arizona, studying under Robert Colescott and Luis Jimenez.
Snow’s career spans decades and geographies. His work has been featured in residencies at the Ox-Bow School of Art and the Millay Colony, and his pieces are held in the permanent collections of the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Wiregrass Museum of Art. After spending a decade in Austin, Texas—where he participated in Crit Group with The Contemporary Austin and exhibited at major venues including The McNay Art Museum in San Antonio and Smack Mellon Gallery in New York—Snow has returned to Alabama.
Spiraling marks an important homecoming for the artist, whose upcoming exhibitions will take him to Coimbra, Portugal; Berlin, Germany; and Nashville, Tennessee in 2025 and 2026.
ArtsRevive invites the community to join us at Gallery 905 for the opening reception on Thursday, September 4 at 5:30 PM to celebrate the work of Pat Snow and to experience his newest body of work.
