Jon Osborne honored at Gallery 905 reception

Gallery 905 celebrated the opening of Jon Osborne’s exhibition, “I’ve Seen That Face Before (Libertango).” The reception allowed guests the opportunity to meet the artist and view the exhibition and experience. He also gave a brief talk about his exhibition during the event. His work has been featured at exhibitions across the United States, including the Kentuck Festival, where he has been a Guest Artist since 2023, and Magic City Art Connection, where he received the prestigious Joe Piper Award of Distinction.

Osborne, a Birmingham-based artist, creates colorful, expressive works inspired by music and shaped by his experience with synesthesia—a condition that allows him to see sound as color. After suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2019, Osborne turned to art as a tool for healing and has since become a passionate advocate for the therapeutic power of creativity.
