Yellowhammer Theater Project

Each fall, ArtsRevive partners with Atlanta-based Yellowhammer Theatre Group to provide local high school students the opportunity to experience the magic of theater from the inside. Started in 2023, this project pairs the Yellowhammer team with students from area high schools to learn and perform roles on the creative and production teams, experiencing a behind-the-scenes look at how a play comes together in a professional setting. Students are involved in all aspects of production, from working with the director and stage manager to learning how a cast and crew operate as a team. Yellowhammer also leads a school-wide assembly and panel discussion for students, families, and educators about careers in the performing arts. The project culminates in a live public performance.
